Lee Squared
an Evening with Liberace
and Miss Peggy Lee

Winner of the 2017 Bistro Award for
Outstanding Musical Comedy Duo
Winner of Theatre Pizazz Best Cabaret Shows of 2016

Two Lees for the price of one:

Liberace lived a life of flamboyance, sparkle, and lavish costumes. In this funny and touching tribute, the virtuoso musician gets one more chance to glitter and shine as he tickles the ivories through his favorite songs. Miss Peggy Lee is beyond description.

New York City favorites David Maiocco and Chuck Sweeney reprise their iconic performances as the music legends who defined four decades of music and pop culture.

Maiocco pays tribute to flamboyant pianist and candelabra enthusiast Liberace, and Sweeney keeps the memory of Peggy Lee alive with a fevered impersonation that includes a heavy dose of camp hilarity.

David Maiocco and Chuck Sweeney are each Bistro and MAC Award Winners, for Musical Direction and Outstanding Impersonation, respectively, and have just jointly won the 2017 Bistro Award for Lee Squared in the category of Outstanding Musical Comedy Duo! As a team they have created an evening of music and laughter, from the virtuoso playing of Liberace, to the sultry jazz and swing of Miss Lee.
